Gina Davis - Group Leader & Owner
Nicknamed as "GG", which stands for Gingerbread Girl, who likes to get out and is always looking for adventures. Gina Davis was born near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania - home of the famous Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates. Due to high fever, she lost all hearing in her left ear and 70% of the hearing in her right ear at the age of 3 years old. Before she lost her hearing, she remember the last sound she heard was a dog barking. She is the only member of her family who is deaf. Davis attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 1985 to 1989. While being Miss Deaf Florida in the early 1990's, one of her job is to travel across the USA to represent her title. That's when she realized that she loves to travel. After college, she traveled across the USA, Mexico, Canada, and the Caribbean islands. She love to help people with their travel planning, share tips, find good rates, and give them vacation ideas. She also love to travel with group and make new friends. Group is more fun and memorable (the more, the merrier!). Great Deaf Vacations established on April 2010 by Gina Davis.

Nicholas Walter was born in Lima, Ohio (between Dayton and Toledo). Nicholas lost his hearing when he was 14 months old due to high fever. All of his family are hearing except Nicholas and his brother. He attended Kennedy School for the Deaf in Dayton, OH (sign language were prohibited until 1970). He later went to St. Rita School for the Deaf in Cincinnati, OH, where they allowed to use sign language. He graduated in 1981 and then went to RIT/NTID (Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY) from 1982 to 1985, where he majored in Architecture. He was a former president of NTID Catholic Group while in college. He was also a past president of NWJAD for one year in New Jersey. Now living in Ohio, he is currently working for a deaf-blind person (for assistance). He spend his time at PTA at his children's school and help out with the church's office. His favorite television show is Star Trek. He loves to travel and enjoys helping people. As an assistant group leader, he will help Gina Davis (Great Deaf Vacations Owner) with travel assignments, from marketing to assist a group on the cruise.
